Content Writer – IPO/Finance
About the Role
We're hiring a Content Writer who can translate complex IPO documents — DRHPs, RHPs, financial statements — into clear, engaging articles that help retail investors make informed decisions. You'll be the primary voice of CheckIPO's editorial content, writing IPO analysis reviews, company profiles, and financial explainers.
This role requires someone who is equally comfortable poring over a 500-page DRHP and writing a 1,200-word article that distils the key risks and opportunities for a first-time investor. You'll work directly with our Content Director, Kavita Mehta, and the Research team.
We publish content for every major mainboard and SME IPO. During peak IPO seasons, that can mean 3–4 detailed analyses per week. You should be able to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy — investor decisions depend on what you write.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and analyse DRHP and RHP filings, extracting key business insights, financial data, and risk factors
- Write detailed IPO analysis articles covering business model, financials, valuation, GMP, and investment recommendation
- Produce DRHP summaries, company profiles, and sector overviews for the CheckIPO library
- Write clear, jargon-free financial explainers (what is a book-built IPO, how to calculate allotment probability, etc.)
- Create timely subscription update articles during IPO open days (Day 1, Day 2, Final Day)
- Collaborate with the Data Analyst to accurately represent subscription and GMP data in articles
- Optimize content for SEO in partnership with our SEO Specialist
- Maintain a consistent editorial voice aligned with CheckIPO's brand guidelines

- Experience with SEO writing and keyword research
